Time HKT 6:30 pm~7:45 pm

In scenes of teaching, art is often called upon to act as an ideal for architecture: a state to which it can aspire. In commercial practice, its role is more modest. When can art be understood not as a handmaiden, but as an antagonist or adversary of architecture? What might a history of the relationship between art and architecture present, if it doesn’t assume a harmonious relationship?
