The use of lightweight prefabricated components and buildings has an irreplaceable role in both temporary and permanent architectural forms. The project experiments with timber studs and panels as the major material. Using timber studs to form original components, the latter are stacked together to uncover the relationship between volume and space. The adaptability and flexibility of the frame are found in the original components. The project also explores the relationship between load-bearing and non-load-bearing components to discover combinations that accommodate various weather conditions.
