SZETO, Tsz Yui

The project proposes a dance school with relaxing spaces and diffused sunlight for dancers and visitors at Wong Tai Sin. The building is turned into a translucent box of light at night, like a lamp glowing in the dark. The punched openings on the concrete wall create a rhythm on the facade, in response to the rhythms of dance in the dance studios. A roof system is designed to capture skylight from the rooftop to ensure the spaces are well-illuminated.
