Inspired by observatories built in several ancient civilizations, this project proposes an observatory for stargazing on the Grass Island of Hong Kong. The giant instrument consists of two corresponding main spaces: the hall that interprets daily and seasonally changing sunlight, and the platform that accentuates the rotation of visible stars, with a maze-like ascending or descending path as transition.
