Introduction

Dr Han Man is lecturer in the School of Architecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, currently teaching foundation courses of architectural design and architectural perception, design theory, as well as architectural history and theory.


As a researcher, Han Man has been researching on Hong Kong 20th century architecture for a decade, the achievements of which include his PhD dissertation and a series of journal articles and book chapters. Upon completion of his PhD study, he has been involved in architecture conservation in Hong Kong. Working as Co-investigator, he has just accomplished a research project in relation to modern architecture conservation in Hong Kong supported by a GRF grant from the University Grants Council in Hong Kong. Besides teaching and research, Han Man is an architectural designer with experience in practice in Nanjing and Hong Kong.
