Through this event, participants will be invited to reflect upon the stakes of architectural renovation in rural areas: how to respect and preserve both the social identity and the natural surroundings of sites located in the countryside? What are the ecological and sociological challenges along the way? With a programme of conferences and project involving the students, this momentum is included in an elective course in CUHK aims to enhance the debate on architecture in rural areas.
