Population decentralisation is taking place in many cities worldwide. However, in some areas, jobs do not sprawl with the population flow, leading to job-housing imbalance. This lecture looks at job-housing imbalance, together with its increasing commute and associated automobile-oriented development, which represents a big challenge to urban transport sustainability.
