CUHK architecture graduate Ciara Lo (BSSc 2017) has been awarded the DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award 2021.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ciara is always fascinated by the relationship between nature and the built environment – a recurring theme in her projects. With the awarded sponsorship, she plans to gain work experience in the architecture studios in the USA and Germany, learning how to combine nature with design and accelerate green development in Hong Kong, her home.

DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award, established in 2005, aims to nurture up-and-coming design practitioners and design graduates by supporting them to work or study abroad.
