CUHK graduate Kenji Lam (MArch 2017) has won First Prize at the Eighth Cross-Straits Architecture Competition for Graduation Projects in Taiwan for his thesis project “The LABRARY: Imagining the Future of Library for Civic Innovation”. Another graduate, Gary Yeung (MArch 2017), has also received an Honourable Mention at the Competition for his thesis “Re-development of Past Vision: Mega Waste Ville – City for 10 Million Inhabitants”.


Established in 2012, the Cross-Straits Architecture Competition for Graduation Projects aims to create a platform for young architects from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong to exchange ideas and network. More information at: csac8th.wixsite.com/csac8th
