Prof. Kristof Crolla receives the CUHK Faculty of Social Science Exemplary Teaching Award 2017, as recognition for his outstanding teaching performance and contribution to the University. The award presentation was held at the Appreciation Achievement Award Celebration on 17 March 2018.


Prof. Crolla joined our School of Architecture in 2013, and has since been developing courses in computational architectural design, digital fabrication and construction. He has engaged his students in a number of research-based courses and projects, including the award-winning ZCB Bamboo Pavilion (2015) in Kowloon Bay; Cable-Driven Parallel Robot (2017), in collaboration with colleague Prof. Adam Fingrut as well as the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering and T Stone Robotics Institute; and most recently his MArch design studio Force Matter 2: Calibration (2018).
