Fu Tei Au Theatre consists of a series of public spaces for villagers, which does not have a definitive answer as to what it can become but suggests possibilities for habitation and temporary events. At the same time, these public spaces also become platforms to stage “plays” that allow communication between outsiders and villagers. Through this dialogue, it is hoped to reinforce and regenerate the village’s identity against government re-planning.
