In this lecture, we'll be focusing on AI's role in reimagining urban architecture design, and explore how we can use AI to merge historical insights with futuristic visions. Taking example of the Kowloon Walled City AI project, We’ll examine AI-driven urbanization strategies informed by Kowloon's unique landscape, discussing ethical and practical considerations. The lecture aims to spark creativity among students, encouraging them to envision AI-enhanced designs that reflect on history and anticipate future urban needs. With case studies, we'll contemplate AI's transformative potential in creating innovative urban spaces that honor historical contexts while tackling modern challenges.
