Congratulations to Prof. Thomas Chung for his remarkable achievement in being awarded both the Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme (HSSPFS) and the General Research Fund (GRF) for 2024-25! His projects, titled “Developing a Rural Placemaking Framework for ‘Countryside Conservation’ in Hong Kong” (GRF) and “A ‘New Territory’: Recultivating Rural Futures for Hong Kong,” (HSSPFS) reflect his dedication to innovative research in our community.
Prof. He Yueyang is another recipient of the GRF, with his proposal titled “Developing a Vertical Wind Profile Dataset to Adapt to Extreme Hot Weather Events with Multi-location LiDAR Observations and Multi-scale Modeling.”
These accomplishments highlight the expertise and commitment of our faculty members in their respective fields. Congratulations once again to Prof. Chung and Prof. He!
