Congratulations to Prof. Thomas Chung for his remarkable achievement of being awarded both the General Research Fund (GRF) and the Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme 2024-25! The projects are titled “Developing a Rural Placemaking framework for ‘Countryside Conservation’ in Hong Kong” and “A ‘New Territory’: Recultivating rural futures for Hong Kong”, respectively.

Prof. He Yueyang is another recipient of the GRF. His proposal is titled “Developing a Vertical Wind Profile Dataset to Adapt to Extreme Hot Weather Events with Multi-location LiDAR Observations and Multi-scale Modeling.”

These accomplishments highlight the expertise and dedication of our faculty members in their respective fields. Congratulations to Prof. Chung and Prof. He once again!
