The Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA) has been awarded the design research project 'ZCB Bamboo Pavilion' by Prof. Kristof Crolla at three Global Design Awards (GDA). The judging panel not only gave the project the ‘Gold Award’ in the Hospitality & Entertainment Space category but also the ‘Judge’s Choice Award’ and the ‘Hong Kong Best’ award.

HKDA GDA has been one of the most established multi-disciplinary design competitions in the Asia-Pacific region organized by HKDA since 1975. It is not simply a design competition to honour global design excellence but also acts as an engine to energise a series of events as a yearlong campaign that aims to promote Hong Kong designs internationally and to enhance Hong Kong as one of the major creative hubs in Asia-Pacific.
